04 / PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Luis Alvargonzález
Investor, executive and board member with an international background in energy, infrastructure and private equity.
Luis combines investment and corporate development experience with general management, financial management and corporate governance responsibilities. He has worked with shareholders, boards and management teams on growth, transformation and capital allocation. He is fully focused on achieving objectives and creating shareholder value.
At Zelestra (formerly Solarpack), an EQT portfolio company, he served as Global CFO from 2022 to 2024 and led the Spanish business from 2024 to 2026.
At Ferrovial, he was Global Head of Corporate Development for air transport infrastructure concessions and established the energy investment platform (Ferrovial Energy).
Previously, he was an investment director in private equity and renewables at Inveravante.
He worked in Citi’s private equity team in London.
He began his career at Arthur Andersen and PwC.
His background includes board roles relating to companies and investment projects, as well as work with platforms backed by Private Equity funds and family-owned groups.
He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from ICADE E-2 and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. He has also taken IESE’s Course for Independent Directors. He works in Spanish and English.
